With BS and MS degrees in AG Education from South Dakota State University with a minor in Farm Management, Roger has over 48 years of experience in agricultural management and real estate. He farms 2,000 acres in South Central Minnesota.
Roger holds a real estate brokers license in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota.
He was President of National REALTORS® Land Institute in 1998 and named Land Realtor of America in 2001 by the REALTORS® Land Institute of the National Association of REALTORS®.
Roger was elected as President of Heller Group Land Company.
Pat Keltgen- Associate Broker, Real Estate Agent
Pat was born and raised on a farm in Southern Renville County, MN. She graduated from Mankato Commercial College. Pat started working for Roger Heller and NORTH CENTRAL Ag. Service, Inc. in Olivia in 1971.
Over the years Pat has garnered valuable experience from her work in the farm management, appraisal, and real estate departments. She has enjoyed preparing sale flyers, typing data sheets, and assisting with the real estate closings.
It was natural for her to obtain her real estate license in the spring of 2009 after her many years of experience.
Gary Hotovec-Auctioneer, Real Estate Agent
Gary grew up on a livestock and crop farm by Danube, MN. After getting out of the Air Force in 1968, Gary started selling International Harvester farm equipment. He attended Auctioneers College in Mason City, IA in 1984 and then in 1988 he obtained a Minnesota real estate license.
Throughout his career of agricultural sales, Gary’s motto has been taken from the moral to a real life tale, “Half a job done is no job done at all.” “That’s why I love agriculture,” he says. “the ag community are down to earth good folks who believe in doing the best you can.” He enjoys dealing with the ag community and farmers in general.
Gary and his wife Holly bought the Hutchinson Livestock Auction Market, Hutchinson, MN in 1994. He recently sold his business to dedicate more time to real estate.
Brian Fernholz- Real Estate Agent
Brian has been a Real Estate Agent for over a decade. He is married and has three children. They live on the farm where he grew up just East of Madison, MN. He is the secretary of the Madison Baseball Committee and a supporter of many community events. Brian has a B.A. degree in Anthropology from Hamline University with a Minor in Sociology. He currently operates a family farm in Lac qui Parle County, MN and is the Owner of Fernholz Crop Insurance where he insures farmer’s crops in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
Scott Buboltz – Real Estate Agent
Scott grew up on a farm south of Hector and is actively running his 4th generation family farm.
After Scott graduated from Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart high school, where he was active in athletics as well as 4H, FFA, and Student Council, he went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Plant Sciences with emphasis in Crop Production from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Scott was active in agricultural groups and activities while attending college.
Scott obtained his Minnesota real estate salesperson license in 2020. Besides farm management and real estate, Scott enjoys focusing his time further his knowledge while working on the farm, where they grow corn, soybeans, peas, sugar beets, and sweet corn. Scott is committed to the family farming operation and is excited to use his knowledge in both farming and real estate to further his passion for agriculture and its communities.
